STEP 1 Beginning of the treatment procedure

Please contact the Center of Reproductive Medicine by phone within the first two days of your menstrual cycle. Our consultation staff will arrange the first appointment for you. 

STEP 2 Injection for ovulation

The injection normally starts from the 2nd to 4th day of a menstrual cycle and lasts 8 to 10 days on average.

STEP 3 Return for follicular monitoring

During the period of ovulation injection, you will be arranged to return for two to four times. During each return, there will be a vaginal ultrasound scan scheduled, and a blood test depending on the situation.

STEP 4 Injection for oocyte maturation

Once the follicles have grown into the adequate size, you will receive another injection for oocyte maturation.

STEP 5 Oocyte Recipient

Oocyte retrieval will be conducted within 34 to 38 hours after the final injection for oocyte maturation. The procedure will be assisted by vaginal ultrasound under anesthesia.

STEP 6 Embryo transfer

The procedure does not require anesthesia and will be guided by abdominal ultrasound to place the embryos into the best positions of your uterus.

STEP 7 Pregnancy test

About 12 to 14 days after embryo transfer, please return for a blood test to detect whether you're pregnant.

Please contact the Center of Reproductive Medicine by phone within the first two days of your menstrual cycle. Our consultation staff will explain the endometrial preparation suitable for you.

STEP 2 Endometrial preparation

Basically, endometrial preparation requires only oral medication.

STEP 3 Return for endometrial thickness monitoring

You will be arranged to return for one to three times to make sure the endometrium grows perfectly.

STEP 4 Use of luteinizing hormone

When the endometrium has grown into an adequate thickness, luteinizing hormone should be used for endometrial maturation in order to prepare for embryo implantation.

STEP 5 Frozen embryo transfer

The procedure does not require anesthesia and will be guided by abdominal ultrasound to place the embryos into the best positions of your uterus.

STEP 6 Pregnancy test

About 12 to 14 days after embryo transfer, please return for a blood test to detect whether you're pregnant.
