Purpose

To assess the current ovarian reserve, which is an important examination to evaluate the ovarian function.

Method

Blood test (fasting not required)

1AMH can be used to estimate the ovarian reserve accurately. The result will not be affected by the menstrual cycle, and there is no human error produced by different operators.
2AMH can be used to predict the number of oocytes retrievable during IVF procedures and as the reference for dosage during IVF procedures.
